  District of Pitt Meadows
Bordered by the Fraser River to the south and Pitt River to the west, 40 km east of Vancouver Pitt Meadows lies west of Maple Ridge, and is separated from Coquitlam by the Pitt River and Pitt River Bridge. The town site located favorably off the main thoroughfare of the Lougheed Highway but conveniently close to a number of commercial and cultural centers. It is a community of great potential which, throughout its 80-year history, has experienced stable balanced growth, and present residents are enthusiastic about continuing a similar healthy, steady march into the future.

The Vision

Pitt Meadow's vision is evident thorugh its revitalization plans. Design guidelines regulate the aesthetics of new developments, studies have focused on increasing tourism, economic enhancement strategies have been discussed and a Harris Road Beautification Plan has been developed.
