Real Estate Board cpe Subsidy Grants

The purpose of the Real Estate Foundation subsidy is to support continuing professional education (cpe) for Realtors in the non-metropolitan areas of the province.

The real estate boards that are eligible to apply are: South Okanagan Real Estate Board, Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board, Kamloops & District Real Estate Association, Kootenay Real Estate Board, BC Northern Real Estate Board, Northern Lights Real Estate Board, Chilliwack Real Estate Board, and Powell River Sunshine Coast Real Estate Board.

The subsidy takes into consideration higher costs for speakers who are often from the Lower Mainland. The subsidy will apply to cpe seminars booked through the British Columbia Real Estate Association.

Please download the application form and complete one for each seminar that your Board is planning to host during the year. Note that when you use the Excel file, you can create a new worksheet (tab) for each seminar.

Boards should submit their requests for cpe grants as close to the beginning of their fiscal year as possible. Submit all the forms at once, with a covering letter on Board letterhead, signed by the Executive Officer or Education Director.

Save the file as a template, then open a new document each time you are applying for a grant...just create a new worksheet for each seminar. Remember to save the file with your Board name in the file name (e.g. XREB_jan08) and e-mail it to us. Be sure to include a signed letter on Board letterhead, either by e-mail or regular mail.
