On Thursday May 20^th, The Real Estate Foundation hosted the first event in its Breakfast Serial: Helping Non-Profits Navigate Their Funding Options. The two-hour gathering brought together over 250 grant seekers with seven funding agencies in a panel discussion and networking session. The non-profit organizations in attendance represented a range of sectors— such as social services, the arts, sport, environment, and non-profit housing—while the grant makers represented varying mandates and a total grants budget of $34 million for the 2010 fiscal year.
