Islands Trust The Salt Spring Island affordable housing needs assessment (2009) was followed by a strategy and action plan (2011) identifying the goals and solutions to housing demands on the island.

City of Quesnel The affordable housing needs assessment report identified demographic and housing trends, and estimated the gap between the need and supply of affordable housing. It was a first step in developing a housing strategy for the city. Centre for Sustainable Community Development at SFU Green Buildings, Green Consumption: Do "Green" Residential Developments Reduce Post-Occupancy Consumption Levels? compares consumption levels in "green", conventional, and co-housing residential developments in the Vancouver area. (2010)
BC Institute of Technology The purpose of the Advancing Green Value Strategies in Development applied research endowment is to fund projects that advance the state of practice in sustainable development--i.e., work related to the built environment, the natural environment, and the relationship between them. City of Kimberley The Kimberley Affordable Housing Needs Assessment was informed by public engagement processes (survey, focus groups, etc) and economic and demographic data. The project team also developed an affordable housing action plan. (2009)
